✨️ Foster Friday: Meet Sassy ✨️

Despite her name, this girl is totally sweet! Sassy is about 3.5 years old and is a total lovebug ❤️ Sassy came to us in July through an animal control partner and has spent some time in so we can learn a bit more about her home behavior. So far, Sassy has received an excellent report card!

💩 Housebroken
🏡 Crate-trained - but free roams with no issues
🐕 Dog friendly
👪 Good with kids

❤️‍🩹 Sassy recently had some x-rays done, and our veterinary team suspects she has Osteochondritis Dissecans (OCD) of her front shoulder. Sassy is currently on joint supplements and prefers a low-key lifestyle so as not to agitate her condition, but adopters should know that orthopedic care may be required in the future.

Sassy can be slow to warm up, but this shy girl has so much love to give a furever family. Are you ready to give her the chance she deserves?

We keep saying it, but we are so overwhelmed by the generosity of our community these past few weeks! Below are just a few highlights from supporters who have stepped up and supported us in our time of need:

🧯Hydrant Pet Center has started a supply collection box on our behalf
🩵Jennifer P. who made her home a donation collection station and delivered three carloads - so far!
🥤Marion and Teo hosted a smoothie stand and donated the profits - almost $200! - to help shelter pets in need

Despite his large size, 12-year-old Sherman is as gentle as a kitten and quiet as a mouse 🐭 This sweet boy was recently dumped at our shelter and is struggling to adjust to the loudness of the kennels- he would much prefer a quiet home where he can rest his head on someone's lap and snooze through the afternoon 💤

If you're looking for a snuggle buddy- and don't mind a little drool- Sherman could be the perfect fit 💕
