Unfortunately, we are still without power and our phones are still down following the recent storms. Humane Indiana Shelter & Clinic will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC TOMORROW, FRIDAY 8/14/26.
We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we continue to navigate this situation. ❤️

🐾 LOST & FOUND: Please message us through Facebook.
🥫 PET FOOD PANTRY: If you need assistance from our Pet Food Pantry or need pet supplies, please reach out through Facebook Messenger.
❤️ TO OUR STAFF & VOLUNTEERS: THANK YOU. ❤️
There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for the people who continue to show up for these animals day after day, in the dark, without power, and in this heat.
Our staff and volunteers have been working tirelessly feeding, cleaning, medicating, comforting and caring for our shelter pets despite incredibly difficult circumstances.
They have never stopped showing up. They have never stopped caring. And they have never stopped putting these animals first.
We are beyond grateful for every single person who has walked through those doors with a flashlight, rolled up their sleeves and said, “What needs to be done?” 🥹❤️🐾
And we still need our community’s help!
🧺 CLEAN LAUNDRY NEEDED: We need clean towels, blankets and bedding for the animals. You can also pick up laundry to wash at home between 9 AM and NOON.
🦴 TREATS NEEDED: Our animals are scared and unsettled, and treats help provide some much-needed comfort.
💙 MONETARY DONATIONS:

Every load of laundry, bag of treats, donation and helping hand means so much right now.
Our animals and team are safe. We’re hanging in there, and we are incredibly thankful to have such an amazing community behind us. ❤️
Please continue watching Facebook for updates.
📱 Our phones are still DOWN and we are still WITHOUT POWER. Facebook Messenger is currently the best way to reach us, as we have extremely limited access to email.
Thank you for continuing to show up for Humane Indiana. 🐾❤️
