She has found a home

Due to no fault of her own, Lucy is still available for her new home!! She can be sold as pet only or with breeding rights; if sold as pet only she will be required to be spayed within 6 months of leaving! She’s such a sweetheart and will seriously make anyone the best girl!! For more information, please pm me!

As much as I hate to start this post, it has honestly been coming as much as I’ve tried to deny it. We have officially decided to “retire” Sunshine’s Dachshunds for the foreseeable future. This is something I have LOVED doing and have enjoyed every relationship I’ve built with my puppy parents, but we need to focus on our human babies and that means our weenies aren’t getting what they need. We’ve downsized and downsized in hopes we could keep up but unfortunately we need to close this chapter for now. Hopefully you will be seeing us in time.

Now, for the point of this, we are officially rehoming our last two females. These girls we received from my nan last year and they have transitioned into the most amazing girls. They have both been around young children, large and small dogs, cars, and crate trained. They do jump on kids, but do not get aggressive at all and my children are rough. Potty trained? They’re a dachshund 🤷‍♀️

Lucy is a 2 year old CKC long haired black and tan with a white chest. She is roughly 10 pounds. She is HYPER when she wants to be, but she’s the ultimate couch potato as well. She has had one litter and will be available to be sold with breeding rights.

Pepper is a 4 year old CKC long haired black and tan with a striking tan face. She is 12-13 pounds, but so long and skinny!! She is the sweetest and most well-behaved girl. She is being sold as pet only, no rights will be offered.

Pepper update

Unfortunately, we do not believe Pepper is pregnant at this time. We gave it plenty of time before making this post but she’s due next week and has zero signs of conception. We do not know when our next litter will be, but will update when we can.

Look at these STUNNERS!!! Schatzi & Gus (Nixon x River baby) welcomed SIX puppies early this morning and I’m floored at how cute these babies are!! There are five girls and only one male!! I love seeing my line continuing to produce outstanding puppies!!

All three are pending pickup!

Tilly, Shylah, and Poppy are looking for their new home!!

If you’ve been following the page for a while, you know we have been trying to build on some land we purchased not too long ago. Unfortunately, after a year of trying, we have found out that’s not feasible. So we are now downsizing on our wonderful dachshund mommas to accommodate a drastic yard decrease and focus more on our family right now!! With that said, we are keeping a couple mommas and will still have puppies but we only plan to have 1-2 litters a year now!

Tilly is an AKC 2 year old short haired Isabella. She has had one litter and can be sold as pet only or to a breeding family but I will do extensive research and vet references for both. She is only about 7.5-8 pounds so if breeding I will need to know to what male since she’s so small. She is such a sweet girl, but be prepared, she barks at flies on the wall, the wind & rain, or if you snore. There’s nothing this girl doesn’t bark at.

Poppy is a CKC long haired red piebald with heavy ticking. She is about 4. She is such a lover and very laid back. She’s roughly 11 pounds. She is to a pet only home at this time, I will not offer breeding her and she will require a vet reference and spay/neuter contract. She would be perfect for an older family if searching for laid back or someone with young kids that wants a very kid friendly girl.

Shylah is a CKC long haired wild boar. She is about 13-15 pounds depending on how much food she sneaks. This girl is HYPER so if you expect her to just sit on the couch 24/7, it’s not happening. With that said, she will stop and cuddle, but also loves her zoomies. She’s also about 4 years old & will be to pet only home. Vet reference and contract required.

All babies are UTD on flea/tick, deworming, but are due or will be due for vaccines shortly! All three have also been genetic tested through embark and are negative for all congenital illnesses.

We are so sad to see them go, but know they will be the best companion for families not wanting a puppy!! Please PM or text me (in bio) for more info! You are always welcome to meet before deciding!!

Exciting news!! After a long rest period from puppies, we are finally expecting!! Since Cru is still too young to breed, we took our sweet girl Pepper over to Meaghan to visit with Winston (Ace’s baby with Schatzi) and we are so excited to be welcoming puppies the second week of June!! Pepper is our long haired black and tan and Winston is the short haired dapple piebald! Can’t wait to see what they produce together, and I’m so happy to finally have some puppies again!!
