From day one, you’ve been part of the heart of Redwood.
My first lesson student. My right-hand woman. The one who showed up, grew, competed, taught, and helped build this place into what it is.

Watching you evolve from that first lesson into the powerhouse coach and competitor you are today has been one of the greatest privileges of this journey. You’ve given so much of yourself to this community, and Redwood is better because of you.

Now you’re heading to Georgia with your love (Remi)… and Ryan (we’re still holding a grudge for stealing you away, just so we’re clear).

While it’s hard to say goodbye, we’re so incredibly happy for you both. You deserve every bit of the bright future waiting for you.

We’re expecting to drop over 50 little ones in the next few months… and honestly, this is the part of farming that makes all the hard days completely worth it.

Nothing beats baby animals.

These sweet piglets will be available for sale if you (or someone you know) is looking for a pet or a pork share.

Meet GusGus — a handsome Highland bull calf cross with an excellent temperament. He’s 50% Highland, already showing great build, and has a calm, easygoing demeanor that makes him a joy to work with. Super easy to train!

Mom and Dad are both right here on site. Mom has good milking genes, has been feeding multiple calves at once with no problem.

What an incredible time at the Colonial Classic Regional Show!
Our kids worked hard all year to qualify for this tough competition, going up against some of the top riders across the tri-state area — and they performed amazingly.
For the 4th year in a row, we had the privilege of competing at the historic Prince George Equestrian Center. Another year for the books!
We were blessed to bring 10 horses and 10 riders who competed across more than 18 divisions. With some classes packing over 30 riders, it was truly special to see everyone walk away with ribbons, memories, and new goals for the year ahead.
So proud of our team — the supportive parents, hard-working kids, and dedicated trainers who made these four days of fun possible.
There’s always room on our show team for any riders who want to join us. Looking forward to an even bigger year next year!

Copycat (aka Monkey See Monkey Do) — one of our very first lesson horses — competing at the NJ 4-H State Qualifying Show… over 10 years apart!

Back in the day, he was ridden by Redwood Farms owner and head trainer Haley. Today, at 22, this moody old man is still out there teaching students and helping them reach new goals.

Owned by Brenda Holtzapfel, Copycat has become (and will always remain) a true staple pony at our farm. We love this special guy and hope he continues to inspire the next generation of riders for many years to come.

Here’s to the horses who quietly shape so many young riders’ journeys. ❤️🐴
