FYI: Please scroll down to the bottom to find recent recalls in dog foods too high in vitamin D causing possible Vitamin D toxicity. Science Diet and Prescription Science diet have several listed as well as many other brands.

The FDA’s Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) provides dog owners and veterinarians with information about the causes, signs, diagnosis and treatment of vitamin D toxicity in dogs. It also provides a list of recently recalled dog food products.
