Hello hello!
We had an impromptu extended weekend getaway for some fishing and got home late last night and I realized I have quite a few messages to respond to! I’ll be in touch asap with anyone who has reached out, I promise ☺️ I’m going in order as messages were received and trying to give everyone a little time to respond before offering times

As of right now, September and the first week of October are fully booked, so about a 3 week wait at the moment, but I’m doing my best to get everyone on the books in a timely manner 💙

With that, I appreciate everyone who has been promoting my business, I truly can’t thank you all enough! At this time though, I am not taking on any new clients, especially moving into the holidays 🎃🦃🎄 I want to make sure I can prioritize my current Joy Paws family with how quickly the schedule has been filling up!

As always, thank you all for your continued support 💙 and patience with a little delay in responses and booking appointments

Sweet girl is still on the search for her forever home 💙 she has been shown interest but no follow through, her timeline in her current home is running down so we would love for her to find her people 💙

🚨📢A couple announcements(the last one is the most important) and a quick check in!📢🚨

Phew! Life has been so busy summer flew right by! Between pampering the pups, having a special visitor for the summer, college, and the chaos of life, where did the time go?!

🛣️ I’ll be heading out tomorrow through early next week to bring precious cargo home before the start of the school year, responses may be delayed while I’m making the long drive! I will also be away from the 27th-30th for my husband’s birthday fishing trip 🥳🎣🚤

🗓️ Currently, we are completely booked for the remainder of August 😅 I promise I have been trying to find any openings I can in August with each request and I am working hard to schedule everyone in a timely manner 💙 I appreciate everyone’s patience with wait times! We are getting into that time where I may start recommending rebooking holiday appointments at the end of upcoming visits!

❤️ Lastly, I want to share a little transparency about the future of Joy Paws. I know I’ve told many of you that I plan to continue grooming for the next couple of years while finishing my degree, but unfortunately my health may change that timeline sooner than expected
As many of you know, I’ve been a little slower lately, struggling with worsening pain and numbness in my hands and arms, and I was advised that continuing to push through the progressing carpal and cubital tunnel symptoms may put me at risk for permanent damage,
This is NOT a closure announcement! There are still a lot of unknowns and further evaluations ahead. My plan is to make it through at least the holidays, and hopefully well beyond that. ❤️ I’m heartbroken to even speak the possibility into existence, but with so many of you planning appointments months ahead, I’d rather be transparent now than someday surprise y’all with a difficult decision
For now, nothing is changing! I just wanted to keep you all in the loop while I figure out what comes next 💙

🐈🐈‍⬛Exciting news! I’ve had a lot of inquiries about cat grooming, while it is not something I offer, I always love to have options to recommend. The awesome ladies at Woofalicious grooming studio in Moyock are now offering cat grooming! They are also open to new clients for the pups too! I highly recommend checking them out ☺️

Apparently I’ve been much better at grooming dogs than posting them lately… 😅🐾
So here’s a long overdue photo dump of some of the pups that visited recently! June was a bit of a whirlwind, but I’m finally catching up on sharing all of these sweet faces!! Thank you all for keeping me busy and for trusting me with your babies, I truly have the best clients!! 🐶✨

Wishing all of our clients, friends, and their furry family members a safe, happy, and fun-filled holiday! ❤️💙🤍

Remember to keep pups secure indoors, make sure collars and tags are up to date, and give them plenty of snugs! Our ladies here will have Disney movies on blast during firework hours with some special treats!

Have a wonderful Fourth of July, and give your pups an extra treat from us! 🎇🐾 I will be back in the salon on Tuesday!
