Everyone meet PENNY 💚🐾
This stunning furbaby is 9 years young, with the poise of royalty and the personality of a puppy. She was an absolute joy during her spa day. 💚
As you can see, Penny’s hair on top is a little short and soft right now. It was determined to flop, not stand. 😂 No worries, we’ve started protein treatments to give it some strength and body.
You may have won the battle, moppy, but HG will win the war. 🤣✂️ Give us a little time... we have plans for that hair.
Penny’s sister Olive will be joining the HG pack soon. Unfortunately, with us being at capacity, poor Olive has a few more months to wait for her turn. 😬 Extra kisses are on reserve for Ms. Olive. 😘
We love you, patient Penny! 😂💚 Welcome to the HG pack! 🐾

Everyone meet BODIE 💚🐾

When 5-month-old Bodie arrived today, he was bouncing off the walls 🤣🤪

Mum was worried we wouldn’t be able to groom him (ok, me too 😂) and even more nervous about cutting off all that puppy fuzz (not me, I couldn’t wait ✂️🤣).

After talking through the plan and easing Mum’s nerves, off we went. And Mr. Chaos... settled right down. I mean, CHILLED OUT! 😳 Like a completely different baby! 😂💚

Once we got all that fuzz off, look at the handsome little boy underneath! 😍🐾 Mum was nearly in tears when she saw him. The good kind! 🥹💚

Welcome to the HG pack, Bodie! 💚 We’re happy to have you and all your other personalities. 🤣🤣🐾

Everyone welcome OTIS! 💚
After a not-so-great grooming experience that resulted in a full shave-down and left both Otis and Mum upset, needless to say, they were both a little nervous about trying again. Mum had been doing her best to keep up with her furbaby at home, but by the time this little boy got to HG, he was heavily matted.
Unwilling to put them both through another naked baby scenario, we took on the challenge of saving Otis’ coat.
Almost 4 hours, 3 coffees (me), lots of patience (Otis), and a whole lot of line-by-line brushing later... we did just that!
And we couldn’t be happier with this baby boy’s transformation. 💚
Yes, it’s the same furbaby. 🤣🤣
Welcome to our pack, OTIS, you darling, darling boy. 💚💚💚

EVERYONE MEET MS. HAZEL 💚🐾
This beautiful 10-year-old Aussie recently traded Florida for North Carolina and WHEW... she was NOT prepared for our NC hot, humid, muggy summer. 🤣☀️
Hazels coat was trying so hard to shed, but she is unaccustomed to our climate and it was so hard. So mummy called us....
And once we got started...
HOLY FLOOF. 😳
Who knew she was hiding ALL OF THAT under there?! 🤣🤣
The pictures really do say it all.
Thankfully, Ms. Hazel was an absolute sweetheart through the entire process. 💚 So loving, SO patient, and perfectly happy to let us keep working while the pile beside her just kept growing.
And LOOK at her now. 😍
Same beautiful Hazel...with breathable skin and smooth amazing fur. 🤣💚🐾
Welcome to NC and welcome to the HG family, beautiful girl. ☀️💚
