Atlas is not a Wier Farms GSP pup. This dog is one of our grand pups. The breeder reached out to us to see if we could help. We are willing to take her in but she is in south California and the current owner would like to find the new home for Atlas herself. Please contact her directly if you are interested in giving her a new home.

Has had a Gastropexy. (A gastropexy is a lifesaving surgical procedure that permanently attaches a dog's stomach to the abdominal wall. Its primary goal is to prevent Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV), also known as "bloat". It does not stop the stomach from filling with gas, but it prevents the stomach from twisting, which is a medical emergency.)

Atlas is a just-turned 3 year old gsp who has been professionally trained and is excellent with her obedience skills- off leash and recall are her expertise. Atlas has the biggest personality I have ever seen and will stick by your side on the trail or right next to you in bed. Atlas needs a home that can suit her energy levels and allow her time to run outside but also a home that is filled with energy, since she can have separation anxiety being left alone for long periods at a time. She is as loyal and loving as a dog can get. She is special and will make you feel as such. She does love and get along with other dogs, however, has had some resource guarding with bones or food bowls in the house with other dogs- not people. She can run/walk/bike in heel next to you. There is not much she can’t do to please her owner.
