Happy Friends Friday! Our little family has welcomed a new friend! A new family member! It has been one week since we met the wonderful transporters of Old Dog Haven, to accept our new family member into our home. Her name is Gabby and she is amazing. I have been wanting to be a forever foster for Old Dog Haven since I learned about them, but the timing just didn’t seem right. Gabby came along to make the timing seem perfect, just like her! And I know well enough that the timing is never right. If you meet a dog and you feel them pulling at your heart strings, that means the timing is right. We have had a week filled with long walks, snacks, lots of baby talk, so much praise for her brothers welcoming her into their space and lots of bed shuffling! It has been a wonderful week and we are ready for many, many more!
If you believe that every dog deserves to have the best life, then please look into Old Dog Haven.
You will not regret it!

I recently had the extreme pleasure of spending a lot of one-on-one time with this super pup! He reminded me that it’s absolutely okay and even essential to sometimes just do one thing at a time. I guess he’s doing two things, which is relaxing and looking adorable; but he reminded me to just sit in the grass. You don’t need to also be emailing, updating, scrolling, cropping, texting, or any other “ing”. You just can SIT!

I’ve done a lot of wonderful things with my two best friends over the years, but this is one of the best! The Dappled Plum Photo Booth at a recent pet party in Bothell. The last two years I was a little busy at the Old Dog Haven Pups on Parade events to get my pups into her awesome traveling Photo Booth and I am so, so glad that we stalked her on Instagram and showed up at her next event!
