TRAINING TIP: THE JEFFREY’S METHOD:

A MUST-DO DESENSITIZING EXERCISE FOR COLTS

Laying on the colts backs for the first time gets them use to the weight, they can see you for the first time with both eyes, and you will practice pressure and release. Getting on and off letting them know it’s okay to just stand there.

10 days ago this mare didn’t ride, she was pushy, bossy and rude.

Today she’s a respectful, willing partner and most importantly confident.

This is the method, this is the journey. And we are just getting started!
