✨ Veterinary Technician Spotlight✨

Ivy Triplett graduated from Ashworth College Veterinary Technician Program in 2023. Ivy shines in the surgical suite, where her technical skills, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving make her an invaluable part of our team. From assisting with complex surgeries and extensive laceration repairs to wound care and intricate bandaging, Ivy approaches every challenge with skill, patience, and a determination to find a solution. She has a special talent for thinking outside the box — including helping come up with the idea to 3D-print a new hoof for a goat after its foot was amputated! Her ability to combine hands-on skill with innovative thinking makes her an incredible asset to our patients and our practice.

Fun fact about Ivy: In addition to her talents in veterinary medicine, Ivy is also an incredibly talented artist! Her artistic skills came in handy for our Paint Your Pet Night, and she plays a big part in bringing the creative vision behind our clinic events, social media posts, and decor to life. We’re lucky to have her creativity both inside and outside the treatment room!

We’re so grateful to have Ivy on our team! ❤️

✨Veterinary Technician Spotlight✨

For National Veterinary Technician week we are honoring our amazing veterinary technicians here at Irvin Veterinary Care. In the spotlight today is Lacy Logan!

Lacy graduated in 2011 from Purdue University Veterinary Technology Program in Indiana - the #1 Veterinary Technology Program in the United States💪🤩

Lacy shines when it comes to patient care, medical knowledge, and understanding disease processes. She has a special touch with every patient she handles, combining skill and confidence with a gentle, compassionate approach. Lacy is always looking out for the comfort and well-being of our patients, making sure they receive not only the medical care they need, but also the kindness and patience they deserve. We’re grateful to have someone on our team who is so dedicated to advocating for our patients and providing them with the best care possible!

Fun fact: Lacy and Dr. Josie have worked together since 2013! Through the years, Lacy has been a mentor, supporter, and friend, bringing years of loyalty and experience to the team. We’re lucky to have her as part of Irvin Veterinary Care!

Thank you Lacy for everything you do for the clinic, patients, and our Irvin Veterinary Care community!❤️

National Veterinary Technician Week!!!!

This week, we’re celebrating the people who keep our clinic running, our patients cared for, and our days moving (even the chaotic ones!). Veterinary technicians and assistants wear a lot of hats, and their hard work, compassion, and dedication make a difference every single day.

We’re so thankful for the team behind Irvin Veterinary Care and everything they do for our patients, clients, and community. Help us kick off the week by showing some love to Lacy, Ivy, and Kaylie in the comments!
