Hi Y'all! We have been getting several inquiries about open ride or arena rental. Unfortunately due to several different circumstances, at this time we are not opening the arena to outside rentals or events. We will update this page when there is information to share about future events or arena news. Stay safe and warm!

To clarify, our reason for halting any activity at The Arena at this time is for the sake of ALL equine partners of course! But...Our personal horses live on site every day. So, while it is each individual choice to come and go as you choose and protect your horses as you see fit, it is our personal responsibility and choice to protect ours as well. We hope everyone will make the right decision for yourselves and your horses according to your judgement moving forward but for us, we are taking all measures to ensure safety of ours as they have not gone anywhere or been exposed to anything outside of their current environment and for that we are thankful. This is not a decision taken lightly as this also halts any income from The Arena. We hope everyone can understand and respect our decision at this time and will keep you all in the loop as time passes. Praying for health of your equine friends/partners and for normal activity as soon as possible! Thank you!

We understand this outbreak seems to be prevelant to the south of us, but we all travel from state to state with our equine partners therefore we are exposed to everything as though there are no borders. We are also seeing reports of confirmed cases in MT, MD and Canada so as they are actively trying to pin point where this started and where all it has spread, every horse that travels is in danger. As always, the safety of every horse comes first at Wild Horse Arena. We are following the reports and will keep you posted as we know anything about a date for safely re-opening. It's a good time to recharge and refuel ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually and it's a great time to focus on the equine friend before the sport. Praying blessings over each and every one in our equine community.

‼️We value our horses and yours to the highest degree so as precautionary measure, The arena will be closed for any practice or events until we know more about the control of the current EHV outbreak in Texas and Oklahoma. Stay home, Love on your horses a little extra while we all navigate this scary and uncertain time‼️

With confirmed cases of EHV in Texas, knowing the early signs and taking quick, effective precautions is essential.

Please remember that though our main goal is to help provide for anyone in need during this uncertain time, but Families with children face an even greater challenge. Let's make sure that we help kids keep a sense of normalcy and provide them with yummy snacks as well as essential food. We hope we are able to help as many local families in need as possible. We appreciate everyone of you!

‼️With the current state of our government, we are aware of the struggles this may cause some to put food on the table and no child should ever know hunger so...This Saturday OCTOBER 25th we will have the arena open from 10am-9pm for "Open Ride" and rather than the usual $10 per horse we ask that you bring at minumum, a grocery bag of non-perishables per horse instead. There are tables in the concession area and we ask that you simply place your donation on a table. All donated food items will be taken to the local food pantry or ministry with help available for those in need during these uncertain times. We understand it may not be enough to make a huge difference but we know every bit of generosity helps. Please just shoot us a message and let us know you're coming‼️

‼️Due to renovations currently under way to better prepare the arena for Fall and Winter events in the months ahead, the barrel race this Tuesday, October 21st is canceled‼️We will keep y'all posted as scheduling of up-coming events take place.

💥The arena will be available for Open Ride, Friday Oct. 10 from Noon-9:00pm💥 Pop-Ups will be available for use. As always, $10 per horse in tip can at concession stand.
