Should anyone be interested.....
This is an antique store find that I have reconditioned.
It is a Bagat Bros. Special, 10 inch, THIN butchers blade, This blade IS NOT stainless steel, it is a high carbon, high polished, 1095 tool steel blade made by Green River Steel. This blade must be cleaned and oiled after EVERY use, or it WILL rust. It was in pretty bad shape when I found it....I think it looks pretty good now.
$100...and it will be STOOPID sharp when you get it.
