What makes Mountain Green Animal Hospital different?

It's a question we get asked all the time.

A little over a year ago, this hospital was just a dream. Today, I have the privilege of caring for pets and families from Mountain Green, Morgan, Ogden Valley, Weber County, Davis County, and throughout Northern Utah.

When I opened this hospital, my goal wasn't to be the biggest clinic. It was to build the kind of hospital I would trust with my own pets.

That means taking the time to listen, being thorough with diagnostics, investing in advanced equipment, and never cutting corners when it comes to patient care and safety.

As a locally owned hospital, we're able to focus on what matters most: providing exceptional veterinary care and building lasting relationships with the families we serve.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted us with your pets. Your support has allowed us to build something we're truly proud of, and we're just getting started.

I'd love for you to watch this short video and learn a little more about who we are and what we stand for. 🐾❤️

“Everything was fine… until the cone appeared. 😔😂

This sweet little puppy came in after a small scuffle with a sibling and was the calmest patient during the whole exam. But the second Dr. Sorensen turned him into a tiny satellite dish… the betrayal became very real.

Treats were offered. Feelings were hurt. Trust may never recover.

The day dogs learn how to leave Google reviews, we may be in serious trouble. 💔🐶”

POV: you thought chasing a porcupine was a good idea… 😬🦔
Dr. Nicole Sorensen got called in after hours to help this poor pup after a very unfortunate wildlife encounter.

One thing we really try to do here at Mtn Green Animal Hospital is be there when it matters most. After-hours emergencies aren’t always convenient, but your pet’s care is always a priority.

Perks of weekend vet life? You might see the whole crew show up 💛 Hazel came along to help cheer on our patient while we got those quills out.
Safe to say… lesson learned (hopefully 😅)

Have you ever seen a pocket pet? Look no further!

You gotta be adorably cute and tell them every time they walk by your kennel how sad you are, and then they just carry you around. No use of your legs needed!

We treat all your fur babies like our own and try to make them as comfortable as possible while they are here with us. Even when we have to give them a poke or two.

Thanks for everybody’s interest in late night vet care. I’ve decided to go ahead and pilot late-night vet care on Monday evenings from 6–9 PM, and our first night is tonight! We know many pet owners can’t make daytime appointments due to work or schedules, so we’re trying extended hours to see if it helps our community.

If your pet has a concern you’ve been putting off — itching, ear infections, limping, skin issues, vaccines, minor injuries, upset stomach, or anything you’d like looked at — tonight might be a great time to come in.

We currently have openings for this evening. Call now to book your spot.
