We are loaded down this morning for our "Pay What You Can" Spay Neuter and very thankful for it! The more animals we send for spay/neuter the less will continue to overpopulate Johnson County! We have 20 community animals on board, all with amazing owners, and one kitten who will be dropped off at VCA Highlands with a ruptured eye. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission ❤️ so we can continue this work each and every single week. Thank you to the Harry W and Carolyn W Galbraith Memorial Fund for their generous donation via East TN Foundation. Together, we can grow and make our community better! As always, thank you to our superhero Joyce Trivette for devoting two days a week to drive the van for Johnson County animals. She is the best of the best!

This baby sums up this years kitten season. We encourage every cat owner to spay/neuter and yes if you feed em they belong to you .. so fulfill the responsibility and spay/neuter!
We have spots open every week for Johnson County cats and dogs with our Pay What You Can Spay Neuter Program. There are no excuses why every animal in this county should not be "fixed." This kitten is just a baby with zero immunity accept what was given from the mother and disease has overcome her respiratory system. She will be treated, but doubtful we can save the eye. Spay neuter would have prevented this suffering.

Gotta keep filled up so we can keep the work going .. Let's go pickup another Johnson County dog in need.
