Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

We love our furry friends, and National Dog Day is the perfect time to celebrate them while also remembering how important it is to practice safe interactions with dogs.

So far this year, the Lawrence County Health Department has received reports of 74 animal bites — 51 of those involving dogs. Many dog bites can be prevented by knowing how to safely approach, interact with, and give dogs the space they need.

Take a look at our dog safety tips to help keep both people and pets safe!

And now for the fun part… let's see your dogs! 📸🐾 Drop a photo of your furry friend in the comments! We’d love to see them! ❤️

This is my Jack Jack learning how to use his wheelchair. He has IVDD and lost strength in his back legs. But nothing can stop this little guy!

Thank you to everyone that has stopped by my shop to say hi! I've had a ton of hugs and the love is incredible! For those that don't know, i am back in the shop full-time. And I couldn't be happier. Im still getting my strength back from having neck surgery, so im not as fast as I used to be but im getting there. If anyone needs me please DM me!
