To all my freends, am informing you and all my other acquaintances from Mount Vernon that, regrettably, my membership with the Mount Vernon Ohio Talk group has been terminated. The administrator, Wendy Shipman, revoked my membership due to my feedback regarding her actions. Despite her advocacy for local businesses, I found her unwilling to assist when a small business required support. Having joined the group long before Wendy Shipman's moderation tenure, I recall the previous moderator, Shanna Vincent, being more engaged with the community's needs and concerns. Unfortunately, my experience with Wendy Shipman suggests she prioritizes personal interests over community welfare. After addressing her alleged bias and post limitations, I was blocked from the group along with my business page. I possess screenshots of her unfavorable comments and will share them accordingly. While I appreciate the connections made through Mount Vernon Ohio Talk, I remain part of other local groups, including Mount Vernon Ohio 2, Apple Valley, Federicktown, Newark, and Mansfield. I encourage members of Mount Vernon Ohio Talk to express their opinions regarding this matter, as the administration's response raises concerns about impartiality and potential discrimination.
