Greener Days Ahead Rescue GDAR is a 501c3 serving dogs of all sizes, weaned kittens, cats and other animals on a case by case bases. We are no kill.

After rescuing my first dog, a Schnauzer named Mini, in 1996 from ditch in Jacksonville, then mentoring other rescues for nearly 10 years, serving on board of directors and various volunteer positions, I kept my feet grounded to the very principals of quality care and gold standards learned from various sources. GDAR became an official 501(c)3 rescue on May 12th, 2015. GDAR takes in homeless, aban

doned and owner surrender animals as space permits. We take pride in caring for our animals. They are rehabilitated, fully vetted, spayed or neutered, put on Heartworm prevention and microchipped before adoption. We rely strictly on donations from the public and accept them in several ways, on our website greenerdaysar.rescuegroups.org where you will also see our wish lists links, available dogs and more information about us. You can also quickly set a monthly donation via Paypal at [email protected] or use a credit card over the phone to our veterinarian clinic at 501-796-8400. We had a very open welcoming with our new partners at the Tractor Supply Co. in Greenbrier, Arkansas, highly recommend going there over the Conway location if it's an option for you. Employees were friendly, polite, true animal lovers, and helpful. We look forward to working together with them in the future. Like most new stake outs, we only had one adoption but one is one, from there we will build on that foundation!

We are seriously low on dog food (like 2 1/2 bags left and we are feeding almost 100 # a day) so if anyone can donate by making an order online to send them some business, I'll be more than happy to drive over and pick up. If we could stick with retriever hi-protein in the blue bag or Diamond products, thats the biggest bang for buck without any red dyed kibble that makes icky poo! Thanks everyone, build me a pallet!!!!

We have a few barn catz available. We ask for a $35 donation to help cover their vaccines and part of their neutering costs. Apply Greenerdaysar.org under our regular cat application and we will pair you up with one or several and instructions on how to best introduce them to their new environment. Even loan you the equipment for a small deposit, refunded when returned.

Today is very sad day at GDAR. Ejay, is being put to rest after a very long wonderful life with her adoptive family. From the squalors of hell, scared to move, to come out her kennel, to be around people, to never forgetting who I was when I would come to visit. I have enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas with her and her family and so many adoption events. She remained like part of my extended family. I knew her Grammy, her mom, the grandchildren, better than I do some of my own family. November 2012 wasn't the very first dog I rescued, but she and her friend Max was the first I rescued with whole hearted meaning of opening of the Rescue we didn't even have an official name yet for 3 more years!

623 was her magic number! Miley has went home! To be loved, not fought, not dumped, not moved between homes because nobody really cared enough to get her spayed and couldn't handle her puppies... but we did that, her puppies all have homes, and now finally she gets a chance to live life without worry. Baby girl we love you and we are so proud of everything you did here raising your babies and helping the babies with mom's! You are one of a kind little pibble! ✨️
