We have 2 wonderful male cats who are currently searching for their forever homes, and we’re hoping you can help us spread the word—or even open your heart to some new furry family members. They recently tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and can no longer stay with the amazing people that rescued them from a parking lot.

These cats have so much love to give. Each one has their own unique personality, but they all share the same hope: to find a safe, caring home where they can feel comfortable, cherished, and secure.

If you or someone you know has been considering adopting, now is a perfect time. We’re happy to share more information, photos, and the story to help you find the perfect match.

🏡 What they need:
• No other cats in the household or other FIV positive cats
• A patient and loving family
• A safe indoor environment
• A little time to adjust
• Lots of affection (and maybe some treats!)

If you’re interested or would like to meet them, please reach out—we’d love to connect you with your new best friend.

Thank you for helping us give these deserving cats the chance to thrive. 🐱💛

We’re just one week into our 5-week Food Drive, and we’re already so inspired by the generosity of our amazing clients and community! Thanks to your donations, we’ve collected:

14 cans of dog food
14 cans of cat food
96 pounds of dried dog food
20 pounds of dried cat food
so far — all going to support the Humane Society of Skagit Valley and families (both two- and four-legged!) in need this season.

We still have 4 weeks to go, so it’s not too late to join in! You can drop off non-perishable food or pet food items at our clinic during regular hours. We have so many prizes left to give away as well as being entered into our grand prize raffle!

Every can, bag, and box helps make tails wag and hearts full. 💛

Thank you for being such an important part of our caring community — together, we’re making a real difference!

Black cats are not just Halloween decoration - in fact, their "spooky" connection makes them less likely to be adopted or even targeted for abuse! This October 27, give some extra scratches to the sweet little cat-void in your life!

Top 5 Halloween Pet Safety Tips:
1. Keep 🍫CANDY🍬 Out of Reach - Pets have a keen sense of smell and can sniff out any candy stash. Some treats can be toxic for them, especially chocolate and sugar-free candy containing xylitol.
2. Keep Pets Indoors & Away from the Door - Avoid potential escapes by keeping your pet in a familiar room with their favorite toys, treats, and some calming music.
3. Identification is Key - In case your pet gets out, ensure they have proper ID, like a collar with a tag or, even better, a microchip.
4. Be Cautious with Costumes - If your pet is in costume, never leave them unattended. Make sure the costume is comfortable, free from dangling pieces, and doesn’t restrict their movement, breathing, or ability to bark/meow.
5. Ditch the Doorbell - Repeated knocks or doorbell rings can cause stress. Consider setting up a candy station in your car trunk or handing out treats on your porch.

If you suspect your pet has ingested a toxic substance please call us (360) 424-4455

Our vet technicians/assistants of the day are Murron and Sam!

Both Murron and Sam's veterinary superpowers are cat whispering 🐱 they both have 2 kitties each at home but love helping all of the cats we get to see every day. They use those opportunities to get a few snuggles in and help the cats feel more at ease here at the clinic

Our vet technicians/assistants of the day are Chelsy and Caleb!

Chelsy's veterinary superpower is client relations and flexibility. Chelsy has been working at the front desk for many years and has a great relationship with all our established clients. She is currently training in the back as an assistant, gaining more knowledge about the veterinary field. (She also keeps all the plants in the clinic thriving 🪴)

Caleb's veterinary superpower is putting both clients and patients at ease. Whether he's talking to a client over the phone about the concerns of their pets or helping in the back giving vaccines or helping in rooms, he brings a calm vibe with him.

Our vet technicians/assistants of the day are Kayla and Junie!

Kayla's veterinary superpower is taking on dentals; she does the cleaning, scaling, and whole mouth x-rays. Junie's veterinary superpower is cardiac; she does her own research to better understand the complicated world of cardiology.

Kayla is pictured on the left, working on a dog dental. Junie is on the right feeding treats to some sweet boys.
