Wrinkles for days. A little tongue. And a face that says, “I’m going to need extra treats for this.” 😂🐾

See that cool little purple gadget? It helps support our brachiocephalic patients’ heads during recovery, helping keep their airways open as they wake up from anesthesia. A little extra support for those smooshy faces we love! 💜

Flat-faced breeds can need extra attention to their breathing during anesthesia and recovery. This gadget is one part of their care, alongside close monitoring by our team.

Extra care and lots of love at Mt Vernon Animal Clinic. 🐾❤️

This sweet girl came to us as an emergency after suffering a broken pelvis. Her road to recovery wasn’t an easy one — after months of treatment, she ultimately needed a leg amputation.

But look at her now! 🥹❤️ Three months later, she is doing FANTASTIC and loving life on three legs!

Her story is also a great example of why we offer Cherry as a payment plan option at Mt. Vernon Animal Clinic. Unexpected emergencies can happen to any pet, and having a payment option can help families move forward with the care their pet needs without having to delay treatment.

We are also incredibly thankful to have partnered with Race 4 Ran and Red Rover, who helped make continued care possible for this sweet girl.

We are so thankful for everyone who played a part in giving her this second chance. ❤️🐾

If your pet ever needs unexpected care, ask our team about Cherry payment plans and other available financial assistance options.

We may be an animal clinic, but around here we never know who’s going to come through the door! This sweet little piggy was definitely one of today’s cutest visitors. 🐽

We love getting to care for all creatures, big and small! 🐾❤️
