Today the Community Cat Registrations are open. The grant covers the cost of spay/neuters of CATS for the following counties only: Montgomery, Rowan, Bath, Menifee and Morgan. 🐈🐈⬛
You will need to go to our website at https://www.gatewayareahumanesociety.com
Then go to the drop down list and under ‘Services’ you will find a registration form called ‘Community Cats’. NOT the form called ‘Low cost spay/neuter’. If you fill out a form under that one you will be missed and not contacted! That form is for dogs and people not in the grant approved counties. EACH cat needing fixed will need their OWN registration filled out. (Ex: if you have 3 cats, you will need to fill out 3 forms.) IF you have already filled out a registration last year you do NOT need to fill out another. We still have you on the list from last year if so. We will also not respond to emails asking about appointment times/etc. Kittens need to be at least 3lbs and nursing mothers need to have kittens 2 weeks fully weaned. You can still register them.
Once you fill out a form it goes to a waiting list. You WILL NOT be contacted until we have come to your name on the list. You will be contacted by either phone (call/txt) or email so keep an eye out. If you do not contact us back within 24hours of us reaching out you will be moved to the end of the list and we will go on to the next person. Due to the high volume of forms. If you No Show an appointment you will not be rescheduled. Please be patient as we are doing our best to get everyone in that we can and it could be a bit before you are contacted if so. Unfortunately getting on the list may not guarantee an appointment right away or for this year due to a limited grant amount but we will do our best!
Please do your part in helping cut down on the population and spay and neuter your pets! Reach out to your attorney generals/circuit clerk for help in covering or finding help to do so.
