🐾 Looking for a dog who may be a great fit for your cat-friendly home? 🐾
These four dogs have all been cat tested and did GREAT! 🐱❤️🐶

Even better, we know that 3 out of these 4 dogs previously lived in homes with small dogs under 10 lbs, so they’ve had experience living alongside little companions, too!

If you have cats and have been considering adding a dog to your family, why not come meet one of these four? You might just find your perfect match! 🥰

We have DEACON who came to us as a puppy and is our longest resident,
PATCHES who was a stray (he was with a tiny dog) is our 2nd longest resident,
TOBY who was adopted years ago and recently came back after his owners living situation charged,
And LADY whose owner recently passed.

All of these dogs have sad stories and need a chance!! We are extremely full and if you are considering adoption, please stop by and see if we have what you are looking for!

Some of our sweet puppies that are left! We can’t believe you guys are resisting these sweet faces!

We also have Nikki, our smallest dog currently at the shelter. She will not get any bigger.

Freya is one of our special girls. She is one of our long term residents who has had excellent reviews the times she has been fostered. She is READY for a FOREVER home!! She is medium sized and will not get any bigger. She is GREAT!!

It’s a beautiful day to adopt one of our sweet dogs!
This is Lady. She is about the sweetest most gentle German shepherd mix you could imagine. She came to us when her owner sadly passed away.
She is good with other dogs and seems to be good with cats as well! 🐱

We are open until 12 today and would love for you to come and meet some of our amazing animals!

We are so so sad to see our boy Deacon as the new title holder of longest resident. 💔 😭

Deacon came to us as a puppy in a large litter. One by one, his littermates found their families and headed home. And sometimes, people had to make a hard choice. Maybe they felt a stronger connection with another puppy. Maybe they were hoping for a girl instead of a boy. Somehow, though, sweet Deacon kept getting outshined.

And now he's been waiting for someone to see how amazing he is for OVER A YEAR!!
Think about that. Deacon has spent essentially his entire life waiting for someone to choose him.

Anytime you come to the shelter, people always “awww” over Deacon. He sits there like the perfect good boy, looking up at you with those big brown eyes, just hoping you’ll notice him. 🥺

Deacon is about 40 pounds of hunking sweetness, which makes him on the smaller side for a shelter dog. And honestly, we just don’t understand how he’s still here.
Because Deacon has gotten nothing but GREAT reviews on his day-outs! He rides wonderfully in the car. He does fantastic with other dogs. And he is an absolute cuddle bug. We have NEVER had an issue with him!

So please, if you’re looking for a dog, consider one who has been overlooked.
These dogs have been waiting longer than they ever should have had to. And we can tell you this, some of our BEST dogs are the longest residents!

Deacon has spent his whole life waiting to be chosen. He is NEUTERED and can leave this place TODAY!! Please SHARE so Deacon can find his person!! 🐾🤎

Let’s talk about our new guy, Thor, because it’s safe to say we are ALL obsessed! ❤️

Thor came to us as a stray, and while he is definitely a big boy, he is also the sweetest, best boy! 🥹 Today, he got to spend some time hanging out in the office to escape all the loud barking, and he absolutely soaked it up. He was calm, happy, and just the BEST boy!

We also cat-tested Thor, and he passed with flying colors! 🐱✅ Check out the video below, he wanted absolutely nothing to do with the cat, which is exactly what we like to see!

Thor also does great in playgroups with other dogs, making him such an all-around wonderful guy. 🐶

If you’re looking for a safe bet, we really don’t think you can go wrong with Thor. Big body, big heart, and an even bigger fan club already! ❤️

Come meet Thor we think you’re going to be obsessed with him, too!
