Fromm Family Foods has issued a voluntary recall of two canned dog foods due to possible metal contamination.
The affected products are Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet Dog Food, 12.2 oz cans with UPC 072705118700, lot code EP2A3306 551006, Best By 03/2029, and Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet Dog Food, 12.5 oz cans with UPC 072705132324, lot code EP2A3306 551029, Best By 03/2029.
The recall involves 3,852 cases of Turkey Pâté and 1,973 cases of Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté distributed through pet stores and online retailers in the U.S. and Canada. The recall was initiated after complaints of metal contamination.
Dogs that ingest metal may develop choking, vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, or abdominal discomfort. Sharp pieces can cause injuries to the mouth or gastrointestinal tract, and larger amounts could potentially cause a partial or complete intestinal blockage.
No illnesses or injuries have been reported so far. No other Fromm products are included in the recall.
Anyone who has one of the affected cans should stop feeding it and return it to the retailer. If a dog has eaten the recalled food and is showing symptoms, the FDA notice recommends contacting a veterinarian. Fromm can be reached at 1-800-325-6331,

🍒 Buy Now, Pay Later—right here at Boulevard Veterinary Care

You see Buy Now, Pay Later options almost everywhere now. They are available when you shop online, order household items, or make a larger purchase—and now, that same type of payment option is available for your pet’s veterinary care.

We know bills are high right now. We also know that veterinary expenses do not always happen at the most convenient time. Sometimes your pet needs care now, but paying one large bill all at once can create a real financial burden.

That is exactly why we added Cherry.

Instead of facing one large veterinary bill, approved clients may be able to divide eligible expenses into smaller, more manageable monthly payments. Your pet can receive the care they need, while you have more time to pay for it.

For example, Cherry’s payment estimator shows that:

A $400 purchase may be approximately $31 per month for 12 months or $16 per month for 24 months
An $800 purchase may be approximately $62 per month for 12 months or $32 per month for 24 months

The estimator also shows several shorter payment options calculated at 0% APR, including 3-, 6-, 9-, 12-, and 24-month examples. That means eligible clients who receive one of those options would not pay added interest. The exact options offered are based on individual eligibility.

Once approved, the program remains available for 60 days. This can be especially helpful when your pet’s care happens in stages. Rechecks, vaccine boosters, follow-up visits, and other eligible services completed during that period may be included in the original Buy Now, Pay Later transaction.

Online pharmacy and home-delivery orders placed and processed through our office may also be eligible. Autoship orders are excluded. 💊📦

So far, 17 clients have signed up, and 7 have already completed transactions through the program.
