Meet Bravery— a curious young tabby whose name couldn't be more fitting.

After being hit by a car, Bravery suffered a severe leg fracture. Amputation was thought to be the only option, but Dr. Cook was able to repair the injury in March 2025. Today, Bravery is back to exploring, playing, and living life like any curious cat. His owner says they can't even tell which leg was injured anymore.

We're so grateful to Bravery's family for trusting us with his care. Seeing patients return to happy, active lives is what makes this work so meaningful. ♥️✨

Recovery is about so much more than surgery—it’s about commitment, consistency, and love. ❤️🐾

Reesie underwent MPL (medial patellar luxation) surgery at Lowcountry Veterinary Surgery last November, and her recovery has been nothing short of amazing.

One of the biggest reasons for her success? Her incredible family.

They’ve been dedicated to her rehabilitation at home, helping her with physical therapy on the treadmill to rebuild muscle and strength in her surgical leg. Their patience and commitment have made a tremendous difference in her recovery.

At her recent recheck, Reesie’s X-rays showed beautiful healing, and she’s back to enjoying hour-long walks with her family.

We love celebrating stories like this because they remind us that the best outcomes happen when veterinary care and dedicated pet owners work together. 💙 Congratulations, Reesie—we’re so proud of you, and thank you to your wonderful family for giving her every opportunity to succeed!
