WHAT AN ABSOLUTE AMAZING SUCCESS STORY! Daisy was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) about 3 months ago. She couldn’t use her back legs and couldn’t control her bladder or bowel movements. The first clip was just her second session with Strides and the second clip was just this past weekend! WAY TO GO MISS DAISY🥳

Rehabilitation is about more than just exercise—proper nutrition and supplements can also support your pet's recovery! 🐾 Supplements designed for muscle support may provide essential amino acids and nutrients that help maintain lean muscle mass and aid in rebuilding strength after injury or surgery. Joint support supplements, such as those containing glucosamine, chondroitin, omega-3 fatty acids, or green-lipped mussel may help support healthy cartilage, reduce inflammation, and improve joint comfort and mobility. When paired with a personalized rehabilitation program, the right supplements can help your pet move more comfortably and recover with confidence. Be sure to consult your veterinarian or rehabilitation team to determine which supplements are most appropriate for your pet's individual needs. 💙

⚡️ Give your pet a little boost with PEMF therapy! 🐾 Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that helps support circulation, ease discomfort, and promote healing—whether your furry friend is recovering from an injury, managing arthritis, or just needs a little extra TLC. It's relaxing, comfortable, and another great way to help your pet feel their very best! 💙✨

Just a Manic Monday… let’s talk CCL tears😮‍💨😅

A cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear is one of the most common orthopedic injuries seen in dogs and is similar to an ACL injury in people. A torn CCL can cause pain, limping, difficulty standing, and reduced activity levels. Treatment options vary depending on your dog's size, age, activity level, and the severity of the injury. For many larger or more active dogs, surgery is often recommended to stabilize the knee and help slow the progression of arthritis. Common surgical options include TPLO, TTA, and extracapsular repair. Some smaller dogs or those who are not ideal surgical candidates may be managed with rest, pain control, weight management, and physical rehabilitation. Whether treated surgically or conservatively, rehabilitation plays a key role in recovery by improving strength, mobility, balance, and comfort. With the right care and rehab plan, many dogs can get back to chasing balls, going on walks, and enjoying all of their favorite activities again! 🐾💙
