September is National Food Safety Education Month! 🍽️🐾 And food safety matters for our four-legged family members, too.

Many foods that are perfectly safe for us can be harmful—or even toxic—to pets. Chocolate, grapes and raisins, onions and garlic, and caffeine are just a few common kitchen items that should always stay off their plate and out of reach.

Before sharing a bite with your pet, make sure it’s pet-safe first! 🐶🐱

If you think your pet has eaten something they shouldn’t have, contact your veterinarian right away.

This sweet little guy was found on the Ravenel Bridge! Luckily, his new mama came to the rescue, and now River is safe, loved, and already the light of his new family’s life. 🥹
