☀️ The summer sun is shining, but it brings extra risks for our four-legged friends!

Did you know that if the air temperature is 85°F, the asphalt in direct sunlight can reach a scorching 143°F? 🐾🔥

Before heading out for a walk with your pup, remember the "7-Second Rule": press the back of your hand to the pavement for 7 seconds.

If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!

Protect your furry best friend this summer by:

🚶‍♀️ Walking during the cooler hours (early morning or late evening)

💧 Always carrying fresh water on your walks

🌳 Keeping an eye out for signs of overheating (heavy panting, drooling, or lethargy)
