🥶 Cold Ohio weather is coming… but that doesn’t mean your horse has to spend the winter miserable!

Blue Dog Performance Horses is accepting a limited number of boarders at our heated facility in Frazeysburg, Ohio. Enjoy the peace of mind of having your horse somewhere warm, clean, and cared for when the temperatures drop.

With winter right around the corner, now is a great time to get settled in before the snow, ice, frozen buckets, and miserable Ohio mornings arrive. ❄️🐴

💙 DID YOU KNOW?

Many of you know us as Blue Dog Performance Horses, but did you know there’s another equine business in the family?

My husband runs Pastures End Services, providing equine burial and transport services to horse owners throughout Ohio and surrounding areas.

After running an equine facility for years, we saw firsthand how difficult the end-of-life side of horse ownership could be. When the time came to say goodbye to a horse, there were very few people in our area equipped to help with what came next. Pastures End Services was created to help fill that need—giving horse owners someone dependable, compassionate, and respectful to call during one of the hardest days we face as horse people. 💙

Losing a horse is one of the hardest parts of owning them, and unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen during convenient hours. Pastures End is available 24/7 — days, nights, weekends, and holidays — to help families through those difficult moments with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Whether a horse passes unexpectedly or you’re preparing for a planned euthanasia, they can help handle the difficult logistics so you can focus on saying goodbye.

We’re proud to have a service like this connected to the Blue Dog family and available to our clients, friends, and fellow horse owners when they need it most. 💙🐴

We heard it’s National Dog Day! 🐾💙

And no one puts the dog in Blue Dog quite like these two cuties — Ted & Ducky, our official Blue Dog mascots!

Naturally, they spent their special day doing what every good barn dog does… tagging along to Indiana to pick up a tractor for the new barn. 🚜😂

Hard work, good horses, and even better dogs. 💙🐾
