A new study found that 68% of the dogs tested had measurable glyphosate in their urine, with some dogs carrying levels nearly 40 times higher than those reported in people.
Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the world. Exposure can come from treated lawns and parks, food ingredients, soil, and even drinking water. While no single exposure is likely to cause obvious illness, it’s the small, repeated exposures over a lifetime that deserve our attention.
Chronic glyphosate exposure can lead to oxidative stress, disruption of the gut microbiome, inflammation, and increased demands on the body’s natural detoxification pathways.
Your dog’s body is equipped with an extraordinary detoxification system, and there are simple, science-based ways to help support it naturally.
We can’t eliminate every environmental toxin, but we can reduce the total toxic load our pets carry. Small changes made consistently can strengthen resilience, support healthier aging, and help protect the body from the cumulative effects of everyday exposures.
Learn how to naturally support detoxification and long-term health and:
• Why glyphosate exposure has become so common for today’s pets
• The surprising role fresh, minimally processed food can play in reducing toxic burden
• How nutrients like N-acetylcysteine (NAC) help replenish glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant and one of its most important detoxification molecules
• Practical steps you can take to reduce your pet’s daily exposure, without making life complicated

This showed up on our 'Memories' today.

Way back in 2012......at the MCBRC Supported Entry at the Genesee County Kennel Club show.

Best in Veteran Sweepstakes 'KELLY' (HRCH Ch. Irish's Hard Chargin St Pete SH WDX x Ch. Irish's Royal Princess Ashly)
I think this may have been Kelly's first show in 10 years. She was excited to be back in the ring, not looking a bit of her 13 yrs of age. She wowed the judge and earned Best in Veteran Sweepstakes....even beating out her soon to be 10yr old daughter.
