National Wildlife Day is celebrated twice a year—on September 4th and February 22nd—to raise global awareness about endangered species and the critical need for preservation. Founded in 2005 by animal behaviorist Colleen Paige, the second date (February 22nd) was later added to honor the birthday and lasting legacy of legendary "Crocodile Hunter" and conservationist Steve Irwin

A sunbeam trapped in copper fur,
A gentle, rhythmic, sleepy purr.
With amber eyes and velvet paws,
She grooms her coat and hides her claws.
A flash of orange in the hall,
Chasing shadows on the wall.
Then curling tight into a ring,
A tiny, golden, sleeping king.
Happy Ginger cat appreciation day. If you or your ginger cat should ever need us we are located at 2051 Briggs Rd Mount Laurel NJ 856 429 4394sss

Your pet’s gums can be an important indicator of their overall health. A sudden change in gum color may signal that something serious is happening.

If you notice a concerning change, especially along with weakness, collapse, or difficulty breathing, don’t wait to seek veterinary care.

📚🐾 Back to School Pet Safety Checklist

A new school year means new routines, busy mornings, and more activity around the house. Taking a few extra steps can help keep curious pets safe from unexpected hazards.

Before the school year gets too busy, take some time to pet proof your home and make sure your four-legged family members are set up for a safe season.

A little preparation now can help prevent an unexpected trip to the emergency hospital later.

One of the simplest ways to monitor your pet's health is by knowing what is normal for them.

A healthy dog or cat at rest typically breathes 15 to 30 times per minute. Counting your pet's breaths while they are sleeping or relaxing can help you spot changes early.

Breathing problems can become serious quickly. Knowing your pet's normal breathing rate can help you recognize when something is not right.
