“I suppose I should provide today's royal update since my devoted staff insists my subjects enjoy hearing from me. I spent most of my day exactly as a cat of my status should: resting, looking effortlessly handsome, and wondering why I've been surrounded by commoners instead of a proper royal court.
And don't even get me started on the water situation. Plain water? Really? I expected sparkling spring water served in a crystal goblet.
Thankfully, the entertainment was slightly more acceptable today. My servants put on Cat TV, and I graciously allowed myself to watch the birds and critters scampering across the screen while they sat nearby to keep me company. They also attempted to interest me with a wand toy. It wiggled. It bounced. It flailed about dramatically. I remained completely unimpressed. Chasing it would only encourage them. Their company, however, was... tolerable, I suppose. It's important to keep the help feeling useful.
I also made sure to maintain my impeccable health. I ate well, stayed hydrated (despite the disappointing beverage selection), and took care of all my royal duties in the litter box with a perfectly normal p*e and p**p. Naturally, everything was completed with the grace and dignity expected of feline nobility.
For now, I shall continue my luxurious schedule of naps, quiet observation, and judging everyone who enters my kingdom. Perhaps tomorrow my staff will finally learn proper palace etiquette. One can only hope. 👑
