Chai is doing well with his desensitization exercises but Cocoa isn't so sure about it.

We start working on desensitization with our foals around 5 months but don't start them under saddle or do anything that puts pressure on their joints until at least 3 and sometimes longer if they look like they are still growing.

We teach our foals to be brave and let them be curious. They rarely disappoint.

We haven't had one approach the tarp this quickly before, so we're caught off guard. If you are going to do this at home, make sure to stand on the tarp or hold it. We are speaking from experience here.
