We had a great clinic last weekend with Vue de Lou Dressage LLC - Alexa Derr! Each rider came away with homework and good feedback and I was very proud of all of my students for coming in with an open mind. Thank you Alexa for your amazing teaching and meeting each rider where they are! I cant wait for the next one!

We had an amazing day hosting Vue de Lou Dressage LLC - Alexa Derr for a clinic. Each rider came to the ring ready to learn and walked away with some great progress. This was even the first clinic for a few of the riders. Huge thank you to Alexa for always bringing positivity and individualized exercises to each ride. Thank you to the BHD family for riding, auditing, and supporting each other, I have the best clients ever! And shout out to my mom for catch riding last minute when we have a schedule change, you killed it!

Can't wait to have Alexa back out in the fall! Thank you everyone 💓

Don't forget the importance of cooling out your horse properly year round!

Bourbon and I had a very hot outing to Loch Moy last weekend. It was over all an ok show, we had some rough moments and some nice moments. We had lots of bonding time just to two of us, I even camped out in the trailer to stay all of 30 feet from him!

The scores reflected our need for more hind end strengthening but, we are one step closer to finally finishing our Bronze. One more score to go!

Friendly reminder that isn't not always perfect but at the end of they day you can learn from every ride and we love our horses regardless! Now let's work on that 🍑!

When Bug started with me about a year ago, he was a big ball of tension. Every new sound or ask would have him locked up and rushing around the ring. Today Bug is a much more confident horse! He rides around every ring like a solid citizen and today he even went for a hack around the farm on a loose rein!

Last weekend Bourbon and I finally made it back to the recognized show ring! After 3 years of life changes and a car accident I am over the moon with how well behaved he was! Bourbon acted like a old pro and took everything in stride. We showed at Third 1, the test was a little rough around the edges and the score reflected that but is nothing we can't fix! We go back out again in July.

Big thank you to all those who Bourbon and I have in our corner! We couldn't do it without you!
