A dog has been rescued after surviving nearly 50 hours alone in the snowy Alaska wilderness. LouLou, a 4-year-old poodle-husky mix, disappeared after an avalanche seriously injured two hikers.

An AirTag helped lead searchers to her location, where she was found alive and largely uninjured.

Bruno’s puppies fell asleep in a hard-to-reach place while I was cleaning up inside, but Bruno can get them out easily!! Once back inside, we made a mess of our clean bedding with yard spice carried in on our feet and coats, and then we enjoyed a novel item (the tunnel). Boots made eye contact and sat so politely, I just had to give him some love. 🥰

Messy morning with Sugar’s pups! We’re going to ask the specialists today if it’s ok for Hops to go outside with his siblings or if we need a new plan for him as they continue to develop and unlock new levels of life. For now, we use PressNSeal on the splint to keep it dry at feeding time. He’s not a fan. 😅

Have you ever taken a nap somewhere and woken up having no idea where you are or what day it is? That just happened to Bruno’s Autumn litter 😂😍 They’re always happy to see Mama, though!

Sugar’s puppies got a little expansion on their space today. We added a bathroom! They’re not going to hit the mark every time, so we have washable potty pads around the disposable potty pad, which we will change out often. Bruno’s puppies have had their potty pads longer, and they use it well, but they still miss sometimes. We change out the bedding throughout the day during these messy learning phases. Bruno’s puppies eat puppy mush twice a day, so their bedding changes are done around mealtimes. It’s important to teach puppies that they can potty away from where they sleep, and it also makes Mama more willing to visit. Excuse me, I need to go do the laundry. 😅😂

This pretty much sums up where we’re at right now. Sugar’s puppies are starting to play a little bit between nursing and napping. Bruno’s puppies play a lot, and they eat dog food a couple times a day. You can really see what a difference ten days of development makes at these ages (21 days and 31 days).

Tomorrow Sugar’s puppies will be 3 weeks old. They can see and hear, and they’re starting to play. Little Hops continues...

Tomorrow Sugar’s puppies will be 3 weeks old. They can see and hear, and they’re starting to play. Little Hops continues to see PetPT on a weekly basis to help him be strong and able to keep up with his siblings as they learn to romp and wrestle.
