* All initial training will take place at the Mt. Laurel location.

Happy 42nd birthday, Peanut! 🐢🥜 This red-eared slider's figure-eight shell was the result of crawling into a plastic six-pack ring when she was very young. That was in 1984.

The Missouri Dept. of Conservation says "her one-of-a-kind shape became her superpower" and that "her mighty message continues to remind people to put litter in its place."

ACCT Philly is offering financial incentives funded by donors. The shelter is offering $200 to foster a dog, $150 to foster cats and kittens, and $750 to rescue partners for every large dog they take.

"That's how bad things are; we're literally paying people at this point to take animals," said ACCT Philly Executive Director Sarah Barnett.
