What does obedience look like to you? What are your expectations when it comes to obedience & acceptable behavior? Can you trust your dog? Does your dog trust you? What does that relationship look like? Do you get to enjoy coming home to your dog and taking them places? Or, are you stressed out all of the time because your dog won’t follow simple directions, you can’t even go on a nice walk without them dragging you down the street, they are constantly getting into stuff or you’re afraid to have guests over or don’t feel comfortable taking them places out of fear that they might embarrass you? Owning a dog, like having a child is a huge responsibility! It is YOUR responsibility to love them, to lead them and to hold them accountable! Discipline = Freedom! Set yourself and your dog up for success so you can have the confidence and freedom to be able to take your dog anywhere & everywhere, regardless of the environment or the number of distractions and trust that your dog will do the right thing all of the time!
