Another great lesson with my little buddy Breeze! This beautiful cattle dog/mix is super sweet and smart. Today we reviewed Place outside and then taught her to walk calmly on a loose leash (Heel). We also taught her to Sit and Stay when we stopped walking. Breeze did amazing with everything.

After another productive lesson we brought her back inside where she got some ice cubes as a reward. Of course I gave her lots of hugs and kisses for all of her fans again today.

Here’s a couple of pictures of my new little buddy Hank. Be sure to check out the video I just posted of this very sweet rescue performing Place like a rockstar. As you can see, he’s a very loving and sweet dog. Hank did amazing on his first lesson today.

My client told me that he saw my information at the humane society and was impressed with how quiet the dogs there were. He had talked with other trainers, but when he talked to me he decided that I was the trainer for him and Hank. I’m very grateful for that and for the relationships that I have with the shelter and with all of my clients.

From chaos to calm in minutes! Y’all welcome my new little buddy Hank to the ABC Pack. This handsome Cavalier King Charles was rescued by a very kind man and given a loving furever home.

Like almost every dig I train, Hank was barking, jumping up, and demanding attention when I first arrived. He quickly learned calmness and self-control. We taught Hank the Place command. As you can see, he did amazing and is now on the right track. I can’t wait to watch his progress throughout the program. Of course I gave him lots of hugs and kisses before I left to train other dogs.

Remember, it doesn’t matter how many dogs you have, nobody crosses a threshold without permission. Have your dogs Sit and Stay until you release them. It doesn’t matter how long it takes or where the threshold leads.

TIP: If your dogs won’t behave like this off leash, start out with them ON the leash until they will.

I just made a couple more trays of healthy snacks for my dogs. I’ll also be making lick mats and some other treats.

Top tray is water, bananas, and blueberries

Bottom tray is chicken broth (no salt or onions) with carrots and celery.

Try this out with your dogs 👏 Comment below what kind of ice cubes your dogs like.👇

Practicing what I preach! Shadow, Snickers, and Bella had some time in the yard and now it’s time to chill out in Place while I do some chores and watch the game.

Remember, you can have calmness in your home and get things done, regardless of how many dogs you have.

Btw, all 3 dogs are rescues. Go check out your local shelter and adopt your next best friend! 🐶❤️

Buddy is showing the proper way for a dog to behave in your car. I’m shocked to see how the average person travels with their dog. You wouldn’t have your kids running around the car, going from back seat to front seat and yelling out the window - so why do you travel with your dog that way.

You saw the video of Buddy performing like a champ at Publix and Burger King yesterday, and it all starts with their energy on the trip there. BTW, I didn’t have to tell Buddy to lay down. He did it on his own because we remained calm. When we got out, we gave Buddy some time to sniff and ‘be a dog’. Then we went and did the things you saw in yesterday’s video.

Your trips to the vet, groomer, park, etc, will go a lot better if you teach your dog proper manners in the car. Go practice this with your dog. Start in the driveway before you head out if your dog doesn’t behave like Buddy. In the meantime, show this handsome dog some love and stop by the Humane Society of Lake County Florida to adopt him! 🐶❤️
