Thank you so much! I have been blessed with a wonderful community and amazing customers. I’m enjoying it so much and I look forward to working with all of your pups for years to come! I love my job!

The Mount Carroll Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting at Paw Spa on Sept. 9th. Seated in the photo below: Angie VanKampen & Contessa Ehlers. Allison began working alongside Jane Sedivy in January 2026. When Jane mentioned retirement, Allison knew it could be the perfect fit for her, and in April she officially closed on the building and began making the business her own.
Allison has always had a love for animals and found a special comfort in dog grooming. She is especially grateful for the support she has received from the community, and is super excited to continue doing what she loves!
Paw Spa by Allison welcomes small to large dogs of all breeds and offers breed styles as well as comfort cuts.

Happy DOGust 1st! 🎉 Today we celebrate all the shelter pups whose birthdays are unknown—because every dog deserves a special day. Thank you to the North Shore Animal League for giving these pets a reason to be celebrated.

🐾✨ Fresh from the spa! ✨🐾

A big shoutout to The Paw Spa by Allison for getting our Head of Security, Butters, squeaky clean and looking extra handsome! 🛁🐶

He came home smelling amazing, soft as a cloud, and rocking his new bandana like the good boy he is. If your pup needs a little pampering, we definitely recommend giving Allison a call!

Thanks for taking such great care of our favorite shop dog! 💚🌼🐾

To all of my amazing new and returning clients, thank you so much for supporting my new business, Paw Spa by Allison! 🐾💙

Starting this journey has meant so much to me, and I’m incredibly grateful for every appointment, referral, kind word, and review. Seeing your support and hearing how happy you are with your pups’ care truly means the world.

I’m also excited to share a few cosmetic upgrades happening at the shop! ✨
Fresh paint, updated signage, and a refreshed new look while still providing the same loving, gentle care your fur babies know and trust. 🐶

I’ll also be sharing some reviews from my wonderful clients because I’m so thankful for all of the love and feedback you’ve given my business.

Thank you for growing with me and supporting my dream. 🐾

✨ Exciting news! ✨
I’m so happy to share that I’m the new owner of the grooming salon—welcome to Paw Spa by Allison🐾💙

This transition is such a special one because Jayne Sedivy has done an incredible job building this place and caring for so many of your pups over the years. The love, trust, and relationships she’s created here truly mean everything. While she may be “retiring,” she’ll still be grooming some of her longtime dogs (because they just can’t let her go 😊).

I’m so honored to be stepping in and continuing what she started. I’m currently working on a few cosmetic updates to freshen up the space, but my main focus will always be what matters most, taking amazing care of your dogs and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved every visit.

Jayne set the bar high, and I plan to keep that same level of care going strong 🐶✨

I can’t wait to meet you and your pups soon!

Paw Spa by Allison offers full groom| second small dog, full groom| medium dog, and full groom| second med dog in Mt. Carroll, IL. Book online or call 8155902836.

🌼 It’s That Time of Year… The Fur Is Flying! 🌼

If it looks like your dog exploded all over your house, don’t worry… it’s just spring shedding season 😅

Big fluffy coats are starting to blow out their winter fur, which means:
Hair on your couch
Hair on your clothes
Hair somehow in your morning coffee

A good deshed grooming can remove a ton of that loose coat and help keep the fur tumbleweeds under control. Plus your pup will leave clean, fresh, and feeling a whole lot lighter!

📅 Spring appointments are filling up fast, so message me to get your pup on the schedule!

Your dog will feel amazing… and your vacuum might finally get a break. 🐕✨
