Meet Stormy—a sweet pup who wasn’t sure about us at first and made it very clear that grooming was overwhelming. There was nipping, wiggling, loud protesting, and a need for plenty of breaks. 🥹

Instead of rushing her, we took the time to build trust and create a calm, comfortable experience. With patience, understanding, and a gentle approach, Stormy slowly found her rainbow. 🌈 By the end of her visit, she was looking adorable, giving us lots of love, and celebrating with happy zoomies! 🐕💨

At Lucy’s Legacies, we understand that every dog is different. Nervous, reactive, anxious, or difficult-to-groom dogs deserve patience and compassion—not pressure. We work at your dog’s pace to help them feel safe and supported throughout the grooming process. ❤️

⛈️ Meet Stormy! 🌈🐾

When we first met Stormy, she wasn’t too sure about us! We decided to save her groom for another visit and spend time getting to know her and earning her trust. ❤️

When we returned, she was happy to see us! Grooming, however, was still something she had BIG feelings about. There was nipping, wiggling, and plenty of loud protesting this little girl definitely let us know when she needed a break! 🥹

With time, patience, plenty of breaks, and understanding, we helped this little thunderstorm find her rainbow. 🌈 By the end, Stormy was looking adorable, giving us lots of love, and showing off her fresh look with some happy zoomies! 🐕💨

Her family was so happy and appreciative of the patience and care we gave their girl. Building that trust takes time, and seeing her happy afterward meant so much to us.

Meet sweet Paisley! 🐾💕

Believe it or not, this pretty girl is 16 years old! She still has that puppy face and plenty of spunk—she just takes things a little slower these days. 🥰

Paisley’s mom and dad wanted a bath and brush-out with a light trim, keeping her beautiful fur long while freshening her up!

Meet Max, an 80-pound Great Pyrenees mix and a certified goofy goober! 🐾😂

Max got a de-shed treatment with us! When we arrived, he was full of energy and convinced anything we tried to brush through his hair was something to snack on. 🤦‍♀️🤣 After some running around the yard and playtime together, he settled in and let us give him his spa day. He was such a good boy, and we’re already looking forward to his next groom in eight weeks! 🛁💙

Max’s mom also received $10 off for referring her parents’ dog, Paisley! Anytime you refer someone to Lucy’s Legacies, you get $10 off your next groom—a little thank-you for helping our business grow. 🥰

At Lucy’s Legacies, we bring grooming to your home! We bring our equipment, work inside or outside with access to water and an electrical outlet, and clean up afterward. ❤️

Whether your dog needs a bath and brush-out or a full haircut, we take time to get to know them and work with their comfort level. Senior pups, nervous dogs, and wiggly first-timers deserve patience, too.

Today we got to meet Miss Honey! 🐾💛

Honey has a photo shoot coming up with her mommies, so they reached out to Lucy’s Legacies for a fresh haircut. She was a playful, wiggly girl, and by the end she was definitely over her hair appointment—and maybe us too! 😂

She did so well, and we know she’s going to look beautiful in her pictures with her mommies. 📸💕
