This is so sad

PETA euthanized about 67% of the animals it took in during 2024, while spending only about 0.17% of its total expenses on animal shelters and animal-related groups. According to PETA’s own shelter records, the organization took in 3,317 animals in 2024 and euthanized 2,213 of them. Only 63 were adopted out. That is a brutal number for an organization raising money under the name “People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.”

That 0.17% figure comes straight from PETA’s own FY2024 tax filing. PETA reported $71.3 million in total expenses, while its listed domestic grants to outside animal-related groups totaled about $120,761. That is less than 1%. They spend millions every year fighting hunters while killing more animals than I do. Meanwhile, hunters spend millions of their own dollars improving habitat, monitoring wildlife populations, and helping provide animals with long, natural lives. So who is actually supporting the ethical treatment of animals through their actions?

UPDATE 9/26/26 UPDATE
The puppy just died. Now Aria is pacing and crying. I don’t think I will be breeding a year from now. My old heart is too soft nowadays.

This morning I heard the faint sound of a puppy. I thought I was hearing things and my husband said “did you hear that” So I got down on the floor and looked under my dresser. There was Aria licking a tiny tiny red puppy. I pulled him out he was so cold and he looks premature but he is alive and feisty. He looks good just has translucent like skin on his face and head. Vet on Monday if he survives. I will weigh him and take pictures this evening after he’s warm and fed well. Praise God for this puppy because I hated seeing Aria so upset. Please pray that he survives for Arias sake.

We were devastated last night 9/24/26 our precious Aria had a miscarriage. She is fine today physically but mentally I can see her pain as she goes back to the spot it happened. One of the hardest things about breeding for me is seeing the emotions of the moms. It is very similar to human emotions. My poor baby my heart hurts for her.

All Puppies have been adopted. I’m rehoming some of the older females if anyone is interested let me know.
Reba is 8 and very laid back and spoiled rotten. She would need to be a local adoption so we make sure you’re a good fit.
Tootsie is almost 4 able to breed but wants to be a lap dog. She is brown and carries black , white, red & she carries phantom and sable markings. Her last litter was born 4/29/26

Perfect vet check on 5 little girls today. We have 3 still 👀 4 🏠. Ready next week June 25th. I have to take them to the vet in a Rubbermaid tote to keep them corralled and safe. Both of Reba’s girls and one of Tootsies have not been spoken for.
