VanderWaal grooming salon has closed its doors as of April 30th. Unfortunately, there just wasn't enough help to sustain the volume. I do offer a home based training session to groom your own pet(s) for $350. You'll learn what tools to use and how to correctly and safely groom your own dog(s), which, for a lot of people would save money in the long run and would keep your pet(s) groomed during any future wave of pandemic. Let me know if you're interested! Thank you all for your patronage. It was an amazing experience serving your grooming needs.

Update: Gov. Evers had us on extended shut down until May 26th. I then made my plans around that opening date, as everyone else did I'm sure. Out of left field on a Monday, it was suddenly ok to groom again as of Wednesday. A day and a half is a little quick for such a drastic change of pace....not to mention my personal plans based on the original opening date. We just finished closing down the shop and am still in the midst of sorting through those items and getting a lot of it set up for future sales. We're also changing residences week after next and were planning on having all of this done before we were allowed to work again. I can't change the plans that are in place, as that is now in stone. Forgive me, but my business plans have to be on hold at the moment, as I can't pack up a house, sort through a salon full of tools and equipment and groom at the same time. lol I will be posting updates in the future, but for now, as most pups are getting in dire need, please don't hesitate to get something set up for grooming somewhere so they're not suffering waiting on me. Thank you for understanding!

As of now, the governor has closed down all pet grooming businesses (nonessential) until April 24th. If that will lift at that point is unknown right now.
My salon is on a lease that ends April 30. I will not be renewing that lease due to lack of qualified and available employees.
I'm changing my business model to do residence grooming. I have portable equipment and will offer grooming at your residence. If you're interested, please message me or leave a comment with your name and phone number and I'll add you to the list and will be in contact.
I will be resuming business as soon as this stay at home order is lifted.
Please note: This is not mobile grooming, it's in your residence. I just want to make sure that point is clear so you're making an informed decision....
