The next round of Puppy Basics and Socialization starts June 2nd!! I have three spots left in this small and structured class! Come have fun with us while learning in a welcoming environment ❤️ We learn all of the basic cues, learn what socialization means and how to do it appropriately, and learn all about body language together while the pups interact in a controlled setting!

Well friends my concussion has been kicking me in the butt recently. I've had low grade migraines everyday since the 26th. I finally caved and reached out to my neurologist after a week of them and today and tomorrow I'm getting infusions to hopefully halt them in their tracks and let me brain reset. My lovely clients that had appointments with me were willing to reschedule and the amazing Alyssa Bupp will be teaching class for me tomorrow night. Not to mention my parents who are letting me live at their house and carting me around everywhere. They're the absolute best ❤️

I'll be working as little as I can today and tomorrow so I apologize if I don't get back to you immediately. Thank you all for your understanding and support!

We had three little graduates last night! One of our puppers wasn't feeling the best and had to sit out. But everyone did an amazing job! So proud of these little ones and their owners ❤️

Just what you needed to end your day! Me working on Cooperative Care with my cat, Shadow!

Shadow decided she will no longer eat her pill crushed up in a squeeze treat. 🙃🙃🙃 HOW FUN. So now we do some cooperative care to take it. It's a SLOW process right now. But a few things are telling me that this isn't the worst thing in her mind:

1. She is jumping up on the counter all on her own when I say "pill time" before I even start to get the treat out

2. She maintains a sit, or semi-sit while I'm touching her

3. She's not running away!!! (Even though my talented self managed to miss her pill in her throat the first two times)

Look at these guys go! A lovely little glimmer of progress ❤️

These little corgis haven't been very keen with each other for a while. And that's tough considering they live together!! We've been working on things since the fall and we're finally starting to see some progress with these two nutters. We had quite a few little setbacks to my usual process for in-home aggression cases so I've had to be more creative. But seeing them run together in a playful manner makes my heart so happy ❤️❤️❤️
