Introducing our newest Champion - River!

River finished her Championship at the Helena Fall Cluster shows with back to back three point majors. While the first half of her Championship was earned out of Bred By, she was expertly piloted to her finishing wins by Kryssi Torgeson (while we enjoyed newborn snuggles at home). Thank you, Kryssi!

River is Vixen's third Champion, and is among the ranks of Vixen kids that are Dual pointed.

Good girl, River!

Update: Lander is spoken for 😊

While I was hoping he'd be an introduction post as a permanent addition, the universe has other plans for this boy.

We currently have a 4 month old Perrin son available to a hunting/sport home. He is our keeper from a very nice litter that ties my whole foundation together - Sitka and Vixen on one side, Perrin and Cinder on the other.

He has been raised as our own (like all our puppies) since arriving and is crate trained, house trained, finished with his puppy vaccines, and is well started on birds and basic obedience. I'd be lying if I didn't admit it breaks my heart to let him go. He's a pretty great puppy, and has all the pieces to be a phenomenal hunting companion or sport dog.

Good boy, Perrin!
Following in his dad Cinder (GCH DC AFC Alpine's Playing with Fire SH UT3 ROM) and granddad Sitka's (GCH DC AFC Mackey's Trail Blazing Sitka SH UT2 ROM) footsteps, Perrin earns his Registry of Merit status as a sire.

Thank you to the breeders that have brought their talented girls to Perrin, and our wonderful puppy homes that have given his kids every opportunity to shine.

Dash update!

Yesterday was a big day for Dash, as he's officially off on his next adventure, starting a new chapter with his new people. I am so excited for him! He is in phenomenal experienced hands, and will get to live it up in Montana as an adventure dog and hunting buddy. I've had so much fun this last month teaching him the bird dog game - true to his pedigree, he was an eager student and a quick learner.

Go mind your manners, keep it derpy, and have the best life, buddy! We'll definitely see you down the road!

Thanks for giving him a second chance, Ethan and Julia! 🥰

Houli has been visiting the last month or so and my goodness have we loved having her here!

She is her big sister Gypsy's CLONE, which makes things twice as exciting around the house. For better or for worse, depending on who you ask (cough Vixen cough) 😂

Brand new to the show ring, Houli has picked up three majors and 12 points - in Washington, one of the highest point schedules for Vizslas in the country - in just two show weekends.

She of course is still playing in the field before she goes home to All Points Bird Dogs to continue her field trial career.

Go Houli, go! Thanks for sharing her this Spring, Pat and Cristine! 😁

Good things come to those who wait!

We are excited to announce the upcoming arrival of our Foragers!

We've been planning this breeding for years. Life being what it is, timing just hadn't been right to make it happen. But here we are! Both Benelli and River are Dual pointed, phenomenal bird dogs in the field, and gorgeous in the ring. Their puppies should be up for any adventure 🥰

(Also, apparently baby mushrooms are called pinheads... Now I'm even more on board with this theme 🤣😂)

EDIT: I should have included this earlier :) We are aiming to keep Dash in the general PNW/West region. Ideally, he'll be able to meet his potential family (and critters) prior to going home and have a few good meetings.

We currently have a 3 year old neutered male - Dash - who is ready to start interviewing for his next chapter.

Dash was our orange collar boy from Ellie's litter by Rudy (The Thinkers) in 2023. He was returned to us last winter and has spent the last several months with our pack. He is an exuberant young boy who loves to work, is very food motivated, and is always up for an adventure. He is crate trained, has excellent leash manners, has a small arsenal of fun tricks and basic obedience to show off, is an experienced trail/hiking dog, and gets along with all critters (he's even been phenomenal with our current litter!).

While he has done well here with our toddler, Dash cannot go to a home with small children, that is non-negotiable. He would do best in an experienced home with or without another dog. He is very social, so would likely enjoy having a four legged companion to romp with.

Dash is not for sale, he is searching for his forever family. We are in no rush, and will take our time interviewing to find him the best place to land - a home where he can be a loved family member and adventure buddy.
