🎉We are excited to announce Dr. Chelsea Brown, DVM, the newest member of Pioneer Veterinary Clinic! She will start seeing appointments beginning July 20th. Please help us give her a warm welcome! 🐾🩺
(To avoid any confusion with our current Dr. Jennifer Brown, she would prefer to be called Dr. Chelsea.)
When Dr. Chelsea was a young child, she was obsessed with cats. It took many years of begging her parents before she was able to have a pet cat of her very own. As she got older and was able to explore more of her small agricultural town she discovered that there are many different kinds of animals; from traditional pets to exotic pets to wildlife. This sparked an interest in learning more about how to care for them, which ultimately shaped Dr. Chelsea’s desire to pursue a career in the veterinary field.
She grew up in Moses Lake, Washington and she graduated from Warden High School. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University, Dr. Chelsea landed a job as a veterinary assistant at Pioneer Veterinary Clinic in 2016. Working hands-on at our clinic allowed her to learn the ins and outs from the professionals before going on to attend veterinary school herself. She attended Ross University where she received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She worked in Kentucky for several years before coming back home and rejoining Pioneer Veterinary Clinic as a veterinarian in July 2026.
Professionally, Dr. Chelsea appreciates the fact that no two days are the same. She has a special interest in educating and working with those with exotic pets because they deserve just as much care as a cat or dog. They also have such fun personalities. She looks forward to meeting your furry or scaly friend.
Dr. Chelsea will be starting July 20, 2026 and she will be seeing appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and some Saturdays. The patients she will be seeing are dogs, cats and exotics (excluding birds). We're so excited to have Dr. Chelsea on our team and can't wait for you to meet her.
🎉Welcome Dr. Chelsea! 🐾🩺
