Puppies who get carsick 🐶🚗🤢. I did a helpful podcast on this - link in comments 👇. Short story, it's usually an immaturity of the inner ear that will improve as your puppy matures, but there's a lot you can do to help in the meantime.

Breeders, getting your puppies out in the car early and often is one of the best things you can do for your puppy owners. Doesn't have to be a long ride and you can start as soon as the puppies can be safely separated from their mother. Training that inner ear from a very young age can avoid a world of suffering later.

If you have a breed that's really prone to carsickness or a puppy that really suffers badly from carsickness, make sure you set up good associations with the car by having lots of play sessions in the car when it's parked and not moving!

🐾 Week 10 Puppy Update 🐾

What a special week it has been as it was Eloise’s final week with us! We spent lots of time going on car rides, practicing recall, working on leash walking, and watching the world go by from the front porch. Eloise was especially fantastic with her recall training this week!

Eloise enjoyed watching people, cars, and all the neighborhood activity while continuing to build confidence with new sights and sounds. Of course, there were still plenty of naps, snuggles, and cuddles mixed into each day.

And now for the big news—our last puppy has gone home! ❤️ It has been such a joy raising this sweet litter and watching each puppy grow into a confident, loving companion. We are so grateful to all of the wonderful families who welcomed these puppies into their homes.

🌿 Week 9 Puppy Update 🌿

This week has been full of new adventures and growing confidence! 🐶

The puppies have been playing in the grass, exploring all kinds of new textures and smells outside. We also introduced water play with a small puppy pool, and they’ve been continuing their daily car rides and outings. 🚗☀️

They’ve spent lots of time watching cars, trucks, and lawn mowers from a safe distance while learning that everyday sights and sounds are nothing to fear. We’re continuing to focus on calm exposure, confidence building, and positive experiences.

Of course, there have also been lots of naps, cuddles, and sweet puppy moments in between all the activity. 💤🤍

And the big news this week — Evie (green collar) went home to her new family! 🏡✨ 💕
