A little more character, a little more charm, and a lot more personality. 🖼️🐾

We’ve been adding some special touches to our space, and we have to say… it’s feeling even more like us.

From the portraits on the walls to all the little details around the salon, we want Rebel Tails to feel welcoming, cozy, and full of character — for the pups and the people who love them. ❤️

And honestly, we think the four-legged residents of our gallery might be the best-dressed ones here. 😂🐶

Next time you visit, take a look around and tell us which portrait is your favorite!

This tiny cloud used to pull sleds 🛷

Four pounds of fluff, thirty pounds of sled-dog soul. Nobody shrunk the attitude — and honestly? We respect it.

✂️ And no, we never shave that coat. Scissors only. The armor stays.

Pom parents, we need to know: what’s the BIGGEST dog your tiny Pom has ever tried to fight? 🐕 Tell us in the comments 👇

There’s nothing quite like seeing a pup walk out looking and feeling like their best self. Every transformation takes skill, patience, and the right care — and this is exactly why we love what we do. ❤️

Most people look at their dog’s paws and just see… paws. 🐾

But there’s actually a lot going on down there.

Pads help with grip, balance, and shock absorption. Dewclaws are basically extra toes. And yes — those little areas need care, too.

Check your dog’s paws regularly for:
• Overgrown nails
• Cracks or cuts
• Redness
• Anything stuck between the toes

Healthy paws = a happier, more comfortable dog. 🐶

Save this post for your next paw check!

Some dogs don’t trust easily. They growl, show their teeth, or even try to bite. And that’s when patience matters most. ❤️🐾

Building trust takes time. We pay attention to body language, respect their boundaries, adjust our approach, and never expect a dog to feel comfortable before they’re ready.

Those moments are everything. Because behind the growls and the teeth is still a dog who deserves patience, understanding, and kindness. And when they finally feel safe enough to trust us? Our hearts melt. ❤️

Fear-based behavior isn’t a personality flaw. Trust isn’t something we demand — it’s something we earn.

Nails doing more than you think. 🐾
Overgrown nails can affect the way your dog walks, stands, and even puts pressure on their joints. That’s why nail care isn’t just about looking neat — it’s an important part of keeping your pup comfortable and healthy.

A good groom takes care of the little things, too. ✂️🐾
When was the last time you checked your dog’s nails?

Think a groomer only needs one pair of scissors? Think again. ✂️

Straight scissors, curved scissors, thinning shears, chunkers… and yes, there’s a reason for every single one.
Different coats and different areas call for different tools — because getting the right finish is about more than just cutting hair.
A good groomer knows their tools just as well as they know the coat they’re working with.

How many of these did you know had different jobs?😜
