I have been interested in the sport of Working Equitation(WE) for quite a while. Everyone who knows me understands that I believe in training truly functional horses. Horses that can survive and thrive and enjoy being outside of the dressage sandbox. Working Equitation is exactly what its name implies….a sport based in a working and functional horse -but here’s the best part- they still need to dressage and use their bodies properly. 🙂🙃🙂
A few months ago I learned of an exciting new organization in Florida promoting WE, Working Equitation Florida. I joined as a founding member, and boy, is it going to be exciting! This organization is hitting the ground running and already has a packed full calendar of events for the rest of this year.
If you are like me, and have been peeking in the window of WE, but haven’t been sure where to start, join us at Seabreeze Equestrian in Morriston, Florida for an Introduction to Working Equitation. (🤫we’re also having a party, so even if you’re not into WE, just come for the party😆).
Contact me if you’re interested in joining us for some fun.
Also take a stop by the Working Equitation Florida page and website workingequitationflorida.com.

Always projects on the farm….🚜
Extended the concrete pad on the wash racks so there will be no more giant shoe sucking horse eating mud hole. 😃
