Fact Filled Friday - Intersexed/Hermaphrodite Goats

It just happens sometimes. The polled gene is closely linked to it - but doesn’t always cause it.

What is it? When one animal possesses both male and female organs. They appear female at birth and develop male characteristics over time - and very often a signature “bean” in their backside (which is actually the 🍆)

This one is a client and he’s just about the sweetest thing around. To view the bean - please see the comments. I’ll post it there.
