As our little business continues to grow, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported Bits 2 Leashes. We truly appreciate each and every one of you.

We also wanted to share a friendly reminder about our business hours.

Our regular business hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

If you send us a message outside of those hours, please know we're not ignoring you. Chances are we're spending time with our families, caring for other clients' animals, or getting some much-needed rest so we can be ready for another busy day.

We answer messages as soon as we're able during normal business hours and do our best to respond to everyone as quickly as possible.

If we're actively caring for your pets and there's an urgent situation, please don't hesitate to call us.

With the 4th of July coming up, we wanted to remind everyone to keep their pets safe during the holiday.

While fireworks are fun for many people, they can be terrifying for our pets. The Fourth of July is one of the busiest times of the year for animal shelters because so many pets go missing after being startled by fireworks.

A few things you can do to help keep your pets safe:

🐾 Bring pets inside before fireworks start, even if they normally stay outdoors.

🐾 Double-check that collars fit properly and that ID tags and microchip information are up to date.

🐾 Make sure gates, doors, and fences are secure.

🐾 Give them a quiet place to relax inside with familiar bedding, toys, or background noise like a TV or fan.

Even pets that have never shown fear before can panic and run when fireworks begin.

Please take a few extra minutes to prepare so your pets stay safe and home where they belong this holiday.
