🐾 Cold laser therapy is available through Bits 2 Leashes!

If your pet is dealing with soreness, stiffness, joint discomfort, or recovering from an injury, cold laser therapy may be a helpful addition to their care. It uses light applied to a specific area and may support comfort and the body’s healing response. Every animal is different, so results can vary.

I offer mobile sessions for current clients and new clients—I can come to you! If you’d like to learn more or ask about fees, send me a message. I’m happy to answer questions and help you decide whether it may be a good fit for your animal.

Cold laser therapy is a supportive service and doesn’t replace veterinary diagnosis or care.

Something new at Bits 2 Leashes! 🐾🐴

We now have a DomER cold laser available as an additional service for our clients.

For anyone who hasn’t heard of cold laser therapy before, it uses light therapy to help support the body’s natural healing process. It can be used for things like sore muscles, joint stiffness, inflammation, arthritis, minor injuries and recovery. It can also be a nice option for older animals that are starting to get a little stiff or uncomfortable.

One of the things I really like about it is that it can be used on more than just dogs and cats. We can use it with horses and other animals too, which makes it especially useful for some of our farm clients.

It’s non-invasive and there are no needles involved. Most animals tolerate the treatments really well.

This isn't meant to replace your veterinarian or veterinary treatment. If your animal has an injury or medical issue, they should still be evaluated by their vet. This is simply another supportive option that we can now offer alongside their normal care.

If you have a dog, horse, senior pet or other animal that you think may benefit from it, feel free to message me and we can talk about whether adding a session would make sense for them.

Today we take a moment to remember September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸

We remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives changed forever, and the first responders who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape.

25 years later, we still remember.

May we never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the way our country came together in the days that followed.

I figured I would share this over here too since a lot of you have been with me and Bits 2 Leashes for a long time.

I recently started a cleaning business called Clean Slate. Bits 2 Leashes is NOT going anywhere lol. I’m still pet sitting and taking care of everyone’s animals, I just decided to add something else to the mix.

I’m doing house cleanings, Airbnbs, move outs, construction clean up and barn cleaning.

Since most of you already know me and know how I work, I figured I’d share it here too. If you need some cleaning done or know somebody looking for someone, send them my way!

And thank you to everyone who has supported Bits 2 Leashes over the years and continues to recommend me. I appreciate y’all more than you know. ❤️

Just a reminder that Bits 2 Leashes is taking bookings for the next few months! 🐾

If you're planning a trip, weekend away, or just have a long day coming up and need someone to check on the animals, feel free to reach out.

We care for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, livestock and other animals. We can also help with medications, feeding, turnout, stalls and the normal day-to-day things that need done around the farm while you're gone.

I have a background as a veterinary technician and Bits 2 Leashes is insured and bonded.

We service areas throughout Levy, Alachua, Gilchrist and parts of Marion County.

I do recommend booking ahead, especially for holidays and overnight care since those spots are limited.
