One of the hardest things for a dog to learn is to be still when they don’t want to be. Otis has never had to be still so him having to stay put is really testing limits! Why does he have to learn to be still?
Multiple reasons but the big one is if someone drops something he immediately steals it and he thinks he needs to actually eat everything he steals. When he learns to be still his mom will be able to safely put groceries away without worrying what he could eat that he shouldn’t.
He also thinks anyone on the couch is his to climb all over and get in their business. If we slow him down and he has his own place then people can come over without him driving them to not be able to sit.

I’ve talked to lots of people lately and many have thought I only run group classes. That is not true at all 😊
I run 1 to 2 groups a month but most of my business is done in client homes working with relationships, behaviors, obedience, and reactivity. I love being able to help people in the environment they need it. I also believe in training the dog in the way it needs. There is no one size fits all. We make adjustments as needed for each individual dog!
