From jumping above my head constantly and not being able to settle when I was around to laying on his spot with direction and clarity. 4 weeks. He is so photogenic!!!

Sadie finished her last session this week. I of course forgot to take pictures while we were out learning what horses were and how to go for sent walks so here she is enjoying the air after. ☺️

I have always believed in tools but don’t believe every dog needs the same tool. That said, I have now taken a course in E Collar training and if your dog needs it for recall I am taking clients for that. I learned how to use the e collar the right way and not shutting the dog down. Watch the video for more details and to see how happy she is. Makes my heart happy she can truly be a dog now.

Please welcome Pearl, our newest trainee. She is a good girl who requires assistance with decision-making as she faces uncertain circumstances that are safe but she doesn’t believe they are yet because she’s so unsure.

The more you know! Your emotional support and/or therapy dog doesn’t belong in a restaurant or a grocery store. I love taking my dogs too but there is a time and a place for them!

Yep that’s Pip, she joined us at 4H to help and stole the heart of this little girl. She asked me very nicely to bring her back next week so she could practice with her again.

A persistent obstacle in human-canine communication is granting dogs ample time to deliberate before reiterating commands. This week, Gus and his mom commenced training on his place spot. They began with an engaging game, and by the end, he had successfully integrated the sequence. Importantly, she refrained from repeating herself, instead, waiting for him to think critically. This method will facilitate his learning process and promote relaxation through mental stimulation.
