Barrel horses got a break so we did something new!

We ventured off to a ranch show Saturday and sunday. To say I was a wreck and nervous as ever.

Georgia girl is absolutely amazing and I forgot how perfect she really is. We did some working cow horse stuff along with trail, ranch riding, ranch reining, and halter. Georgia won herself 2 buckels. 1st in halter and 1st in box drive box (cattle). Picked up a 2nd place in the ranch trail and 3rd place in the ranch riding. She is absolutely beautiful and just a natural.

Onyx got to come out and see what a quiet show life is like.
We did the Jr. Ranch riding and let's just say he was a little fresh with no warm up 😆 then we went in for another ranch riding and he did extremely well! He acted like a gentleman and road like a saint! The final class was halter and he got 2nd. Class was small for 3 and over stallions but he was a good boy for his first time being out.

We came home with incredible prizes and some new friends!! We will definitely be coming back in the future.

2013 big b***d gelding standing 16 hands. He is broke in all aspects in barrels. He is on the hotter side but will collect up doing slow work and riding around. He hasnt seen a pattern in 10 months or so due to his owner having a baby and starting a family. Not fault of his own as he has alot of potential and needs a job.
This video was his first lope through (Wednesday) with LOTS more run to him. He is powerful out of his turns and moves. He can be for anyone that is a experienced rider. Hauls great, stands tied, baths, loads with or without a ramp, no vices and a easy keeper. He will be hauling with me over the summer till he sells. Price will increase with more hauling. Get him while you can

We will always have a clean horse when we attend an event. Horses are brushed and groomed daily to keep their coats shinny, soft and slick!
